Awesome day fishing heaps of baby Snappers, yellow Eyed Mullet and one tiny Jack Mackerel it was an exiting day because every fish I caught I had to get on the wharf fast because there was two hungry Shags hanging around.
In terms of Snappers I had four lines out and only one baby Snapper but the exciting part of my day was hand feeding a friendly young Shag.
Great day of catching bait, there was heaps of Yellow Eyed Mullet and heaps of baby Snappers, caught two giant Jack Mackerel. It was funny hooking the giant Jack Mackerel because the first was fighting me really hard and the second one smoked me because I was using a $15 Warehouse rod.
Nothing much to report, great calm day, a bunch of Yellow Eyed Mullet caught and baby Snappers.
My favourite spot for picking up bait fish. Jack Mackerel and Yellow Eyed Mullet always around and fun to catch. On occasion Snapper and Kahawai also caught.
